Family Fun Composite (Novena day 5)

I couldn't resist posting this photo even though it is a bit blurry, it is another webshot (this whole composite is made up of webshots). It's a great action shot. Mom and Dad are having fun with their little pack! As you can see the puppies love it, it looks like Miranda is on the attack.  Also their faces are not so dead pan any more. These were taken on Miranda and Puck's 1 month birthday, the 20th! (They were the only ones born after midnight.)
oh and don't you just love the little aviator goggles they have at this age! I wish I was there!

A Couple of Web Shots ( Novena day 3)

I can't make this thing put pictures in order on the page. Grr.
Here are some shots of their first puppy kibble all mashed up with formula and it's immediate effect- sleep. Literally, Viola just about dropped in her tracks.
Notice the action shot of Benny behind Viola while she eats. leaping to freedom!

Beagle life is reaching new heights!

Here is a picture of the happy couple April 1,

and a an Easter shot of our Angel baby.

She was always shaped like a peanut before! Her wasp like figure is gone as maternity transforms her look, but don't fret, it is only temporary.
The Big Dude is having a ball, he's faster than she is again and it does great things for his ego.  As her tummy swells his head swells!

the whole family having an after exercise nap
(no, They don't really nap much when she does)

Sometimes she turns and looks at her tummy when they start moving, it is so cute! We can see and feel them move.

The anticipation is HUGE!

Check in often for updates.

A Penny for Your Puppy Thoughts

Not long ago I caught our little beagle girl thinking about her master (O.K, Daddy), Dashman.  "How do you know?" you ask.  Well, she absolutely adores him.  She has since he carried her home that cold, September night tucked into his security officer jacket.  When she knows he is coming, she can hardly hold still and when he talks to her, she gets these charming, melting, chocolate eyes and her ears melt flat against her head.  A look she ONLY gives him (She loves the rest of us, but she adores him!)
Though this is not
 actually her, it is
almost her look.
A few days ago, she was sleeping on top of her kennel, which she does on a pillow all the time, when a noise outside woke her up.  For just a minute she must have thought he was home from work. Still foggy from her nap, she looked up at the door.  No one came in, but she kept looking at the door.  I expected her to bark, instead she dropped her ears flat, then her head tilted up and her eyes melted.  The thought must have only lasted a few seconds, then she sighed deeply and laid her head back down to finish her nap. How about that, a puppy daydream.

Beagles on the Farm

These are our beagle babies as they were when they just arrived  at "the Farm" (formerly Grandpa and Grandma's place)  They came in a little later, after a long walk, to open gifts and the Big Guy even snuck in a nap.  Little Merry Sunshine irritated the resident labrador and spent her time being kept out of harms way.
